Tony Walsh – Managing Director

Unstoppable, unflappable and dedicated, Tony Walsh is the Managing Director of RR Events, with over 20 years’ experience in managing events. Having started in the events and markets industry as a consultant in the early 2000’s, Tony is now renowned in the industry for designing, planning and creating some of the best events in the UK and Europe. RR Events was born from Tony’s desire to plan events with a difference and to deliver beyond expectation.

Tony states “Planning, managing and delivering an event is one thing but transforming it into a remarkable experience is another, because exceptional events don’t happen by magic, they happen through passion and dedication”.

Lee McDonnell – Event Market Manager

Lee has worked within markets and events for over 10 years. His core role is to direct and manage the team of Event Operatives, whilst co-ordinating the many different elements that help us to consistently deliver safe and quality events. Lee is uncompromising in his standards and remains calm when the going gets tough, in what we all know is a difficult and challenging industry. He enters each event with passion, excitement and unfailing enthusiasm which makes him an asset to any client event.

Joanne Evans – Events Liaison & Market Coordinator

Joanne is a vital member of the RR Events team, bringing over ten years of hands‑on experience in event management. She plays a key role in liaising with Councils and Business Improvement Districts across the UK, ensuring every Continental Market is planned with precision, delivered smoothly, and tailored to the needs of each location.

Her work doesn’t stop at logistics. Joanne also collaborates closely with market traders, supporting them from initial planning through to event day. Her approachable style, industry knowledge, and ability to keep even the busiest schedules running like clockwork make her an invaluable asset to both RR Events and the communities the company serves.
